I remain deeply committed to serving those in a broad range of economic circumstances. Therefore, I do offer a limited number of reduced-fee slots in my practice.
Good Faith Estimates
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical/behavioral healthcare will cost. Under the No Surprises Act (H.R. 133 – which went into effect on January 1, 2022), health care providers need to give clients or patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. This Good Faith Estimate shows the costs of items and services that are reasonably expected for your health care needs for an item or service. The estimate is based on information known at the time the estimate was created.
Insurance
In-Network: I am currently in-network with Aetna and Optum (and various affiliate companies). Check with your insurance provider regarding co-pay or co-insurance rates.
Out-of-Network: I also accept many PPO insurance plans as an out-of-network provider. I can provide you with an invoice (also known as a “superbill”) at the end of every month, which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Clients make payment at the time of the session, then submit the invoice to insurance, who may reimburse you a percentage of the session cost. Insurance plan coverage varies widely, so please check with your provider for coverage and reimbursement rates.
